Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber and Singha extend partnership
Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber and Singha Corporation will continue their journey together, as the companies extend their long-running partnership for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
A subsidiary of Boon Rawd Brewery, the first brewery established in Thailand, Singha Corporation has produced its famous beer since 1933: its unmistakable taste and the trademark mystical golden lion logo featured on each bottle are now synonymous with Thailand itself. Alongside Singha, the original Thai beer, Singha Corporation produces other major beer brands and a growing range of sodas, drinking and mineral waters, catering for a wide range of tastes and consumers.
The relationship between the team and Singha Corporation dates back to 2019, when the lion logos first started appearing on the cars produced in Hinwil. A series of successful activations, mostly involving our race drivers over the years, followed, making Formula One and the team household names in Thailand and beyond. Most importantly, though, the relationship that was created between Singha Corporation and the team run by Sauber Motorsport is one that transcends business – and becomes family.
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber Team Representative: “Extending our partnership with Singha Corporation is a natural choice: it’s a move dictated not just by the excellent results it has produced in terms of investment, awareness and recognition, but most importantly by the strong, personal bonds that have been established by the individuals in both companies. This is a relationship based on loyalty, on friendship, on family: and we will honour it in the best possible way, both on and off the track. We are all looking forward to continuing our journey together.”
Voravud Bhirombhakdi, Senior Executive Vice President and Executive Director, Boon Rawd Brewery: “The partnership with Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber puts Singha in the spotlight in Formula One, one of the most well-known and most popular sports in the world. As a Thai brand whose products are recognised and distributed across the globe, we are proud to have been involved in this sport since 2010, as well as maintaining a global partnership with Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber since 2019. The two-year extension of this relationship puts an emphasis on the commitment between Singha and Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber team to strive for success in motorsport now and in the future.”
