Adamas Esports acquires Gscience
Adamas Esports is a performance startup that works with coaches, gaming companies, and players to develop a winning culture. Recently, they announced the acquisition of Gscience, its European competitor. According to the new arrangement, Adamas will integrate coaches, clients, and leadership of Gscience within its ambit. In addition, Adamas will also take over the entire tech stack and mobile application of Gscience.
Adamas and Gscience both work with esports companies and tournament organizers. They work towards performance enhancement. The companies ensure holistic improvement for player’s wellness and culture along with tactical, practical, and in-game analytical details.
Adamas is looking to make an aggressive foray into the European market through this acquisition. In this endeavour, the regional expertise of Gscience will play a crucial role.
Caleb Cousens, CEO and Founder of Adamas Esports said, “Over the last several years, we have helped our partners reimagine their training program into a comprehensive, 360-degree approach that balances in-game strategy with out-of-game wellness. Alongside our new Gscience colleagues, we will now bring that same, sports-science-based approach to new markets both abroad and in-app.”
Adamas has an impressive portfolio that includes TSM FTX, Version 1, PUBG Esports, EA Sports FIFA and South American Organization INTZ. One of the most recent partnerships closed by the company was with Call of Duty League franchise New York Subliners, which is owned by NYXL.
The merger is also seen as an opportunity for Gscience to expand its boundaries, according to Ryan Scollan, former CEO of the company. He said, “we have admired and competed against Adamas for years, and we are now thrilled to help elevate its already market-leading position across our native territory of Europe, and beyond.”
Ryan Scollan will now take the role of Managing Director, Europe, at Adamas.
