Shoaib Akhtar Encourages Indian Star To Lose Weight, says : “Can Be A Model And Earn Crores”
Rishabh Pant was advised to concentrate on improving his fitness and losing weight by former Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar.
Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, has been praised by former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who described him as a courageous cricketer with a wide array of strokes at his disposal. Following his outstanding performance against England in the third and final ODI on Sunday, Pant has been receiving a ton of plaudits from both current and former cricket players. With little under eight overs left, India was able to complete the 260-run chase thanks to his 125 not out. Akhtar analyzed Pant’s performance and claimed that he carried India to the series victory single handedly.
However, Pant has also been pushed by Akhtar to pay attention to his fitness and lose weight. He thinks the 24-year-old can become a model and make millions of dollars.
“He is a little overweight. I hope he takes care of that. Because the Indian market is big. He’s good-looking. He can emerge as a model, earn in crores. Because whenever a person becomes a superstar in India, a lot of investment is made on them,” remarked the legendary Pakistani bowler.
To win the three-match series 2-1, Team India defeated England by five wickets in the last one-day international on Sunday. After being given the opportunity to bat, England only managed to score 259 runs, with captain Jos Buttler finishing with 60 runs as the team’s leading scorer. The best Indian bowler overall was Hardik Pandya, who finished with outstanding statistics of 4/24.
Prior to Hardik Pandya being removed after scoring 71 runs, the two of them accumulated 133 runs for the fifth wicket. Pant continued by smashing a blazing century, his first in ODI play. His performance aided Team India in completing the 260-run chase in just 42.1 overs.
