Confident Virat Kohli states: “Ready to do anything for team India”

Virat Kohli has reaffirmed his goals for team India by promising the public that he is willing to give his all in an effort to lead team India to triumph. The former captain stated that his current objective is to assist the squad win the forthcoming Asia Cup and the ICC World T20 in Australia.

Virat Kohli, India’s star hitter, is now absent from the team for the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies. Kohli, who is having trouble with the bat, will return to the team for the forthcoming Asia Cup in late August. The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates, and the format has once again been modified to T20s. While Kohli’s recent form has called into doubt his status in the Indian squad, the former captain has stated that he is willing to go to whatever length to assist the side win the Asia Cup as well as the T20 World Cup.

While Virat Kohli’s performances continue to fall short of expectations, the former Indian captain maintains his usual serene demeanour, presenting a relaxing aura of self-assurance. The 33-year-most old’s recent outing in India colours was a tour of England, when he appeared in all three formats. Kohli managed only 74 runs in six innings, averaging a dismal 12.33.

Despite this, the Delhite is confident in his ability to contribute effectively to the national squad, as evidenced by his recent remark. Kohli is currently on leave from the West Indies tour and is scheduled to miss the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe.

“My major goal is to help India win the Asia Cup and the World Cup, and I am willing to do everything for the team,” Kohli said, according to Star Sports.

Kohli also had a subpar IPL 2022 season, scoring 341 runs in 16 games at an average of 22.73 and a strike rate of 115.98. During the competition, he only managed two half-centuries. For the record, Kohli hasn’t scored a century in nearly three years in any format.
