Dota 2 releases 10-Year Anniversary Treasures
Expectations were high for Dota 2’s 10-year anniversary event, which began on August 17, but Valve chose a chest full of cosmetics rather a full-fledged celebration featuring new game styles. Despite the disappointment of some fans, the Dota 2 community came to love the free skins, and gamers now want Valve to prolong the event’s duration.
While some expected a mini-game mode or event, Valve opted to mark the anniversary with unique cosmetic items that reflected the game’s long history.

Valve previously stated that while they were hard at work on the 10-year Anniversary Celebration, they would be unable to launch it on the actual day. Dota 2 players will be able to obtain various unique cosmetic items that will make their gameplay more colourful and fascinating until Thursday, September 7, 2023. Valve unveiled the 10-year Anniversary Celebration treasure chest, which includes 13 items “tied to each of Dota’s storied years.”
The prize is free, and players will receive one with each in-game victory. This practically implies that they must win 13 times before the timer expires on September 7 in order to obtain the available goodies.

To commemorate the occasion, Valve is releasing a commemorative treasure, one for each year of Dota – one for each particular year. These feature new designs for some of the most famous cosmetics from Dota’s 13-year history, such as Ursa’s Alpine Stalker outfit and Earthshaker’s Bindings of Deep Magma.
There was also the historic release of heroes like as Void Spirit, as represented by the Hidden Vector set, a recent Immortal from 2021. DOTA Dragon’s Blood, the Dota anime series, was not forgotten, and gamers may also acquire a Mirana Persona package.
The ten year anniversary of Dota's public release is coming up (yes, we're working on some fun stuff for it; no, we're definitely not going to hit the July 9th date listed on Steam).

The players’ allotted 13 riches must be claimed within three weeks. You could be having a rough week in Dota 2, but winning 13 games in three weeks is certainly doable! Whether the riches are just the beginning of the festivities and there will be more in the next three weeks or if this is pretty much it is the major question at this point. If the riches are the sole attraction, the 10-year anniversary celebration falls a little flat.

There has been a range of responses from the community to this Anniversary Bundle. Many people enjoy the retro vibe of the skins and effects, but some think the offers might have been more impressive given the significance of a 10-year anniversary. Perhaps there will be more, and you’ll be surprised by the valve.
