Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) has been tasked with adorning the stadium and keeping it clean, according to MWMC CEO Shakeel Ahmed Bhatti, who visited the site on Saturday.
He noted that hosting the opening ceremony was a great honour for the city and that exceptional preparations will be made for the event. Aside from that, the entire city would be adorned and cleaned in preparation for the entrance of the players.

Multan Cricket Stadium will host five PSL matches, and the MWMC has begun taking initiatives to beautify the city and preserve cleanliness, according to Bhatti.
The management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is not convinced that the opening ceremony and first match should be held in Multan.
The National Bank Cricket Arena (NBCA) in Karachi is expected to host the PSL 8 opening on February 13. Meanwhile, Multan will only host round-robin matches.
The final PSL 8 schedule will be released following the end of the home ODI series against New Zealand.
For the first time, the PCB has provided cheap season passes that will include weekday matches. This aims to encourage cricket fans and families to buy cheaper tickets to attend matches and see some of Pakistan’s top shortest format cricketers compete for the highest prize in Pakistan cricket.
