Julius Francis wants a Mike Tyson rematch
TMZ Sports Twitter handle announced on 23rd June that former British professional boxer Julius Francis is ready for a rematch with American Boxing legend Mike Tyson. This announcement came two weeks after Julius knocked down a man with a single punch outside Box Park, Wembley.
The one-punch hammer blow went viral on social media channels. The video was liked and shared millions of times among netizens. The incident debilitated the person involved and their license to work got suspended.
In an interview, Julius Francis said, “The security agency SIA actually cancelled my license to work for said actions. I can’t work until the things got sorted.”
As Julius Francis waits for a final decision on license renewal for crowd control duties, he would be open for a re-match with Mike Tyson. According to his statements, “he is open for a re-match. I don’t know if anybody will watch it, but I’m going to say, “yes”.
“If there is a promoter that’s willing to promote a sanctioned fight. I never have liked talking about money, but they could offer a decent deal, then who knows?”

Julius Francis fought Mike Tyson for the first time in the year 2000 at M.E.N Arena, Manchester. The match was concluded in sixty-three seconds of round two when Mike Tyson knocked down Julius Francis in a fair and quick match.
To the credit of Julius Francis, he gave a good fight and get back on his feet despite being knocked down four times.
Mike Tyson and Julius Francis both have ongoing investigations in separate criminal cases.
