Qatar Word Cup 2022 : Where will the football teams stay and train ?

The Qatar World Cup 2022 will begin on November 21, with the final on December 18, 2022. The whole footballing world is gearing up for the 2022 World Cup, which will begin in Qatar in less than four months. The World Cup stadiums are all within an hour of one another, making the event manageable.

FIFA said  that the 32 football teams competing in this year’s World Cup would be housed in replica Arabian palaces, wellness resorts, and luxury hotels where alcohol will be prohibited. According to FIFA, the lodging options range from “four and five-star hotels to villas, resorts, and non-hotel accommodation, including sports academy apartments and school/university dormitories.”

According to a recent declaration by officials, all of the teams will have their own World Cup training facilities termed Team Base Camp (TBC). Each team’s finalised locations have been verified. A competing team’s headquarters will be at Team Base Camp during the event. It combines an appropriate hotel or other sort of housing with a specialised training venue. Unlike past events, each team will stay in the same hotel and use the same training facility during the competition.

While the World Cup qualifications were still going on, each team was offered a range of lodging alternatives, with inspections taking place and a “first come, first served” rule in force if more than one country wanted the same base.

“Players will have more time to train and rest during the competition while being able to experience the excitement that will take over the country at much closer quarters, as fellow players and passionate fans from all 32 nations will be gathering in a single area,” stated Colin Smith, FIFA’s Chief Operating Officer – World Cup.

According to Nasser Al Khater, CEO of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, all training facilities would be of world-class quality.

“We’re pleased to let fans see the world-class facilities that Qatar has developed for their national teams,” Nasser said. “Fans of the 32 teams that made it into the renowned competition may rest easy knowing that they will have the greatest resources available to do well at the World Cup,” he added.
