Dwayne Johnson excited for India vs Pakistan World Cup Match
Dwayne Johnson, the actor, expressed his enthusiasm for the highly anticipated showdown between archrivals India and Pakistan at the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. On October 23, the two sides will square off in the Super 12 stage at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Previously this year, India met Pakistan twice in the Asia Cup 2022, winning the first match but losing in the Super 12 stage.

The Rock remarked in a video shared on Star Sports Twitter, “When the greatest rivals clash, the world will stand still. This is more than simply a game of cricket. It’s India vs. Pakistan time.”
Concerning both teams’ preparations, India overcame Australia by six runs in an exciting warm-up game on Monday, while Pakistan was humiliated by England later that day. India will now play New Zealand in their second practise match, while Pakistan will play Afghanistan in their last warm-up game. Both games will take place on October 19.
India captain Rohit Sharma has already announced his starting lineup for the match against Pakistan. He stated that he does not believe in last-minute choices and wants his players to begin preparing for the game as soon as possible.

“I don’t believe in last-minute decisions,” Rohit told reporters. “We want to keep our guys aware about team selection so they may prepare ahead of time. I’ve already decided on my starting lineup for the Pakistan game. Those players have already been notified. I don’t believe in doing things at the last minute. I want them to be properly prepared,” he concluded.
Pakistan is also full of optimism as Shaheen Shah Afridi prepares to return to the field after recuperating from an injury. Last year’s T20 World Cup saw the left-arm bowler eliminate India’s top three hitters, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli. In addition to Pakistan, India will face South Africa, Bangladesh, and two qualifiers in their group stage, which will be announced on Saturday.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has already stated that the MCG would be packed on matchday, with all tickets for the October 23 game sold out.
