Dota 2 Battle Pass Part II released with Diretide

Something unique for the season arrives with the second instalment of the 2022 Battle Pass. Diretide is back, and here are the specifics.

Part II of the Battle Pass includes the Candyworks, the new Diretide game mode, a new Cavern Crawl map, and the introduction of additional goodies such as the Conduit of the Blueheart Crystal Maiden Persona, Immortal Treasure II, unique Versus screens, a Cave Johnson announcer pack, new taunts, and more.

Don’t miss Sithil and Quirt’s Candyworks & Treasure Emporium, where you can trade in candy from the Battle Pass or any candy you get from playing games and recycling treasures to claim all sorts of goods ranging from trinkets, couriers, and wards all the way up to Arcana – even a bespoke Roshan skin.

The Candyworks is a location where you may exchange your hard-earned sweet treats for event-exclusive products, like Arcanas.

When you first start the game, you have a choice of three items. Once you’ve received candy, you can reroll the offerings a maximum of 10 times every week. These rerolls are earned simply by playing.

Candy Sacks sells candy and will roll one of five available candies. These bags are obtained by completing specific levels in the Battle Pass. Extra candy may be acquired by playing Dota – Turbo, Diretide, or Ranked — up to five times each week.

The goal of the game is to destroy the opponent Taffy wells – think of them as towers — but you can only completely destroy them with Roshan’s aid.

Each squad begins with four Taffy wells. Each one is closer to the fountain, making it more difficult for the opponents to defend. Players must gather Taffy dropped by Greevils spawning at random – or by other players — and toss it into an enemy well.

Roshan will attack the well with the most Taffy after a specified length of time. The game is ended when four wells on one side are destroyed.

You’ll also receive mounts such as a penguin, an ogre seal, a blizzard, or a frozen toad. These work vary differently from one another and will assist you in moving about the map even if you aren’t on a mobility hero.

As a general rule, heroes who can move quickly over the map, such as Storm and Ember Spirit, are strong picks for dumping sweets. When attempting to deposit taffy, spell immunity is also often required, as a swarm of opponents will be anxious to stop you, making Black King Bar very probably a need.
