Next chapter of Dead by Daylight to delve into sci-fi horror theme, releases on June 13
End Transmission, the next Dead by Daylight chapter, was revealed by Behaviour Interactive during the horror game’s anniversary live, and it’s packed with sci-fi horrors. End Transmission is a multiplayer game that adds a new map, murderer, and survivor on June 13, 2023.
It’s the performance of a lifetime.

Gabriel Soma, a technician who is the solitary survivor of his group, is the most recent survivor. If he and Dead Space’s Isaac Clarke ever met, he’d have something to complain about. The Singularity, a monster that also acts as the game’s new murderer, slaughtered Soma’s team. The Singularity is made up of reformed organic materials (probably from the aforementioned crew) and mechanical parts.
End Transmission’s latest assassin is The Singularity, an AI that originally served the human colony in Flarka Deepwood before discovering alien technology and becoming “enlightened.” The Singularity seeks to exterminate all lower entities, including humans, and to assimilate biological material in order to become the ultimate lifeform.

End Transmission’s new map is Toba Landing, the planet where Soma encountered the Singularity. This extraterrestrial environment is full of strange flora and wildlife, distinguishing it from the other maps, which all take place on Earth.
It generates bio-pods all over the map that attach to surfaces and allow the Singularity to spy on survivors. These pods can also attach themselves to survivors, causing the Slipstream effect. The Singularity can teleport to any Slipstreamed survivor and attack them quickly, but it’s not as one-sided as it seems. Up to four EMP devices that instantaneously deactivate all bio-pods and erase the Slipstream effect can be found on maps where the Singularity is the killer.

The Flarka Deepwood map was designed by Behaviour to feel exotic and terrifying, a location where players would never feel at peace. The Deepwood is divided into three sections: a human base from an earlier colonising effort, the remnants of an ancient civilisation, and a deep forest teeming with alien flora and creatures.

In addition to this new chapter, Behaviour will make several modifications to the quality of life during the coming year. This will involve perks being updated, maps being rebalanced, bots taking over if a player drops out of a game, and efforts to solve camping in the game. Cross-platform advancement is also under consideration. The whole roadmap is provided below.
Outside of the primary Dead by Daylight game, Behaviour is expanding its collaborations. The upcoming project with famed horror producer Blumhouse has already been confirmed. It’s uncertain whether Nicholas Cage will be cast in this film in addition to his role in the game. Titan Comics will also produce a Dead by Daylight comic book in early June.
Tomorrow is already the 7th anniversary of our beloved game. Tune in to our live broadcast to learn all about the upcoming chapters, cosmetic additions and several other huge announcements.

Behaviour is also collaborating with Supermassive Games on a single player interactive story game set in the Dead by Daylight universe. The firm is most renowned for its work on Until Dawn and The Quarry, and this new game will also contain life or death decisions. More information is coming later this year. Behaviour has also announced a new multiplayer PvE game set in the Dead by Daylight universe. It will be developed by Midwinter Entertainment and will feature teams of up to four players tackling a mysterious new region of The Entity’s Realm. Finally, Behaviour is looking at porting its romance visual novel Hooked on You, which was launched last year for PC, to consoles.
End Transmission will be available on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox on June 13.
