Valve makes Dota 2 Battle Pass levelling simpler

Free battle pass levels are difficult to come by, but Valve has recently included a slew for The International 2022.

The International 2022 battle pass has received an update from Valve. The updates introduce 36 new free levels and alter distribution to make it simpler to obtain the old free levels. Part of this is a new method for obtaining fight levels just by playing the game during the week. The developer added a new weekly feature, a more generous quest system, and free Dota Plus to the Dota 2 Battle Pass.

“One pattern we’ve found in community feedback is that players don’t feel like they’re progressing proportionally with the number of matches they’ve been playing,” Valve stated.

When compared to The International 10 Battle Pass, the developer discovered that a devoted player may gain a same amount of points, while a more casual player would have fewer. This meant that the average number of Battle Points in this year’s pass was lower.

Dota 2 players may obtain the new free battle pass levels by just playing Dota 2 during The International 2022 season.

With the new weekly bonus, players gain 200 combat points for every victory and 100 battle points for every loss. These additional points are automatically added, and players do not need to accomplish anything in the battle pass itself to obtain them. Points will continue to accumulate until players achieve two levels every week. That’s 36 free levels over the next 18 weeks.

If you want to gain free battle pass levels from the first week of tasks, go back in the battle pass and activate prior weeks after they’ve concluded. Following then, gamers can perform previous tasks to gain credit toward the new smoother incentives.

This year’s Dota 2 Battle Pass has not gone down well with fans. After a week, sales had barely reached $10 million. According to the Dota 2 Prize Pool Tracker, this pales in contrast to 2019 and 2021, which both broke past that threshold within four days.
