The ICC Women’s World Cup will be held in India in 2025

Cricket lovers have another reason to celebrate: India will host the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2025. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that India will host the ICC Women’s One-Day International World Cup in 2025.

The women’s event will be held in India for the fourth time. India has served as the host country on four occasions: in 1978, 1997, 2013, and currently 2025. In the host years, it finished fourth in 1978, reached the semi-finals in 1997, and finished seventh in 2013. It finished second on two occasions, in 2005 and 2017. It has yet to win the World Cup, though.
