The 26-year-old used her grappling to control Walker for the most of their battle at UFC Vegas 59, preventing Brogan from getting going on her feet.
Miller dominated the ground for well over three minutes in the opening round, and while some strikes were traded, that was it. Following the opening round, Walker and Miller were a little chippy, demonstrating how personal this event has become for them. Walker and Miller threw several great blows at each other in the second round before collapsing on the ground and trading submission attempts.
Walker was in urgent need of a win heading into the final round, so she landed several powerful punches and got off to a terrific start. Miller, on the other hand, simply waited for the opportunity to take the battle to the ground, and when she did, it was one-sided. She soon took mount and pummelling Walker with strong punches and elbows until referee Keith Peterson intervened.
What a piece of hardware for Julianna Miller 👏🏆

Juliana Miller’s pre-show interview :
Miller’s charisma was obvious from the moment she sat down. Miller began the conversation by introducing herself as if she were a ring announcer. She went on to describe how she got into MMA.
Miller recalls being bullied as a child, both physically and psychologically. She accumulated a lot of rage, which made her ideal for MMA. Miller stated multiple times that she want to assist in the prevention of bullying and to teach victims how to defend themselves.
Another bizarre aspect of the conversation was how she formally began training. Miller related how she was beaten and choked unconscious. Miller stated that after she recovered, she resolved that no one would ever be able to do something like that to her again. Miller devoted her life to combat sports after that.
Miller planned to teach a self-defense class once she regained her confidence. Her instructor promised her that she could teach the course as long as she won three amateur MMA fights. Miller won all three amateur fights, including two by submission in the first round. The rest became history.
