Cristiano Ronaldo reaches 500 goals, smashes all four for Al-Nassr in their 4-0 win over Al-Wehda
Cristiano Ronaldo reached another milestone in his incredible career on Thursday, scoring his 500th league goal for Al-Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo came into the scene in a Saudi Premier League match between Al Nassr and Al Wehda, scoring four goals in one game to lead his club to win. He slipped off the opposing defender and finished beautifully with a devastating left footed shot that beat the goalie and nestled into the bottom corner for the opening goal. For the second goal, he sprinted on a through pass and completed it expertly, straight through the legs of the opposing goalie.

The first goal was significant for the Portuguese superstar since it brought him to 500 club goals. He scored his third goal from the penalty spot to seal his first hattrick for Al Nassr. The fourth goal was a re-enactment of the second, with Ronaldo latching on to a through pass, hitting it straight at the goalkeeper, who parried, and finishing off a rebound.

Earlier, Ronaldo started for Al Nassr against Al Wehda after scoring a stoppage time penalty to help engineer a 2-2 draw the previous week. Ronaldo’s penalty kick was his first goal for the Saudi club since leaving Manchester United in the middle of the season.
During the evening, Ronaldo crossed the 500-goal mark in the Premier League, and he was celebrated by close friend Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo famously sat down with Morgan for a candid interview while still playing for Manchester United in November, and went on to criticise the club and manager Erik ten Hag.
This marked the end of his stay at Old Trafford, as his contract was mutually terminated later that month.

The five-time Ballon D’Or winner signed a two-and-a-half year contract with Al-Nassr in December, reportedly for more than £177 million, and was named captain of the squad.
