Brazil wins the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022
After three weeks, the FIFAe Finals 2022 came to a stunning close. The FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 presented by EA Sports captivated spectators inside and outside the arena as Brazil was crowned FIFAe Nations Champion 2022 following four days of furious play. Twenty Four teams from all over the world fought for a prize pool of $400,000.
The squad of Phzin, Crepaldi, and Klinger follow the inaugural victors France to become the world’s greatest FIFAe country and the first to hoist the brand new trophy. Umut Gültekin was proclaimed FIFAe World Champion, Riders were crowned FIFAe Club World Champions, and Brazil was crowned FIFAe Nations Champion, earning the country’s pride and affection.
“The last three weeks have showcased the community’s biggest stages and the global potential of FIFAe with a great setting and fantastic performances shown by all participants,” stated Romy Gai, Chief Business Officer at FIFA. “Congratulations to all three champions for claiming the respective FIFAe trophies, beating the world’s best at the pinnacle global event, and inspiring the next generation of esports talent.”
A goalless first leg set the stage for the second leg, in which Poland took an early lead, but a quick goal followed by a 90th minute flicked winner ensured that Brazil would be crowned FIFAe Nations Champion 2022.
“I am proud to represent Brazil, I am happy and loving it,” stated newly crowned champion Crepaldi. His teammate Phzin was also just as ecstatic, exclaiming “Thanks for all of the support and the crowd here, this is the biggest achievement of my career.”
Brazil has written their names into FIFAe folklore forever. Along the way to the final, Brazil defeated major European countries including Spain, Italy, and former FIFAe Nations Champions France.
The next season will begin later this year, with the finest players, clubs, and nations battling for ultimate fame and glory over the course of many months.
