West Indies’ wickets came from bowlers Akeal Hosein, Dominic Drakes and Jason Holder.

Yadav smashed boundaries with ease thanks to his 360-batting style, providing a peek of India’s aggressive approach in the 20-over format. His quick performance, which included eight fours and four sixes, meant that the visitors reached the mark with an over to spare in St Kitts.

The West Indies scored 164 runs in 20 overs against India. West Indies opener Kyle Mayers led the way with a 50-ball 73, while Rovman Powell chipped in with 23. Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed two wickets for 35 runs for India, while Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh each took one.

India got off to a terrific start with Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav, chasing a goal of 165. However, Rohit Sharma was forced to withdraw hurt because to a back spasm. However, Suryakumar Yadav was in his element when he faced West Indian bowlers, particularly Alzarri Joseph. He reached his half-century in just 26 balls.
