“You either get me Bayern or Chelsea, or we’re through,” Cristiano Ronaldo’s ultimatum to his agent Jorge Mendes
Prior to the possible agreements falling through because both clubs were concerned that the star had missed the start of preseason training, Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly asked that super agent Jorge Mendes arrange him a move to either Bayern Munich or Chelsea last summer.
According to a story in the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Ronaldo gave Mendes an ultimatum last summer as the star frantically sought a transfer away from United after the team was denied Champions League eligibility. “You either get me Bayern or Chelsea, or we’re through,” Ronaldo told Mendes. His manager reportedly responded, “you’re crazy,” failing to sign him to either team.

Following Ronaldo’s request, Mendes contacted both Chelsea and Bayern Munich to see whether either club was interested in signing his client. Both, though, declined to make an offer. Ronaldo and Mendes’ relationship was then ended.
Cristiano accepted Al-offer Nassr’s without hesitation because he had no other appealing offers to stay in Europe. They offered him a deal worth 200 million euros every season.

Mendes’ connection with the number 7 began to deteriorate the minute he departed Real Madrid. “Stay here you’ll be protected. If you leave, you’ll be worse,” the agent informed the player who was concerned with obtaining the same salary as Messi.
Time proved Mendes correct. Cristiano Ronaldo, a Real Madrid legend, was not the same after leaving Juventus and then Manchester United. Finally, the Portuguese arrived in Saudi Arabia, where he expects to continue racking up goals.

Ronaldo’s personal manager and close buddy Regufe was ultimately responsible for his surprise £175 million-per-year transfer to Al-Nassr.
Regufe, whose appearance during the World Cup was queried by Portuguese teammates, accompanied the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to Saudi Arabia earlier this month.
Ronaldo made his long-awaited start for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday, scoring in the club’s 1-0 win over Ettifaq.
