First official Formula One Exhibition launches in Madrid

F1 has proudly announced the launch of the world’s first Formula 1 Exhibition in Madrid, with F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali in attendance to officially kick off the event.

The exhibition, which will be shown at the famed IFEMA MADRID and officially designed in collaboration with F1, promises to be an immersive experience with artefacts and contributions from iconic teams, specialists, and personalities. The ‘Survival’ room contains the wreckage of Romain Grosjean’s vehicle from his devastating 2020 accident in Bahrain, Pierre Gasly’s ‘Monza Miracle’ debut race-winning car from the same season, and the first public exhibition of a Ferrari F1 power unit.

The Exhibition consists of five more purpose-built rooms, with guests beginning their trip by walking through ‘Once Once A Time In Formula One,’ where previously unseen photos transport them through F1’s most famous and defining events.

The ‘Design Lab’ takes fans inside an F1 factory to explore design, testing, and manufacturing processes, with exclusive overview from F1 tyre supplier Pirelli, before ‘Drivers and Duels’ offers a race circuit-inspired architecture and celebrates the most iconic drivers and legendary races since F1’s inception.

Sauber Group is a proud contributor to the world’s first official Formula One Exhibition, which opens in Madrid tomorrow and will travel the world to reach fans all over the globe.

The highly anticipated display spans across six purpose-built rooms, created in collaboration with award-winning curators, artists, and filmmakers. Designed to deliver an unforgettable experience to everyone, from avid followers to younger fans and families, the exhibition walks through the incredible history of Formula One, featuring a wide range of contributions from the sport’s most renowned teams and personalities – each of them carrying an extraordinary legend within itself.

With a remarkable motorsport legacy of its own, closely intertwined to Formula One for over three decades, Sauber Group proudly gave its contribution to the exhibition, offering its knowledge and expertise to provide visitors an insightful overview in the section devoted to aerodynamics.

Combining impressive audio-visual design, rare visual content, educational displays, sculptures, and iconic Grand Prix cars from all eras, the Formula One Exhibition will open on 24th March at the renowned IFEMA Madrid, and will run for several months.
