KL Rahul, the team’s senior middle-order batsman, was the subject of much speculation surrounding his physical health. While he will miss the first few games of the Asia Cup 2023, latest developments indicate that he will be able to compete in the Super 4 stage. He has now been included to India’s World Cup team.

Furthermore, history will be made this time, as India will host the full tournament for the first time, raising the stakes even higher.
