Hyderabad FC are all set for the start of the new Indian Super League season. The Nawabs have been around the country and back in their pre-season tour in search of game time, and have completed their pre-season with plenty of minutes under their belt.
After the early exit from the Durand Cup, HFC took on the Sreenidi Deccan reserves side and pulled out a 2-0 win before setting off on a tour to Kolkata.
HFC fell to a 2-1 defeat against fellow ISL side RoundGlass Punjab but beat Kidderpore SC, a team from CFL.
The Nawabs scraped past I-League side Inter Kashi in a hard-fought game at the AIFF Centre of Excellence in Kolkata before putting in a hard shift to beat East Bengal FC at their training ground.
Hyderabad returned home with less than ten days to go for the first league clash, and played out a tough goalless draw against Sreenidi, before a productive game against NEROCA FC at the HFC Training complex.
The Nawabs completed their pre-season with another 0-0 draw against the Sreenidi as they look to find full-match fitness ahead of the new season.
The new faces at the club, along with the impressive youngsters from the reserve side, Joseph Sunny, Laldanmawia, Abhijeet and Jeremy all played their role in the successful pre-season for the cub.
HFC are back in ISL action when they travel to Kolkata to take on East Bengal at the VYBK Stadium on Saturday, September 30.
