Miracle and team win the highest average MMR game in Dota 2 history
Newer, bolder, and stronger games emerge on a regular basis in the fast expanding world of ‘Dota’. The most recent miracle under our magnifying glass is a game deemed the highest ever MMR match, with an average MMR of 12168. This isn’t just a stride, but a massive leap ahead in the Dota world.
The game included renowned pros from both teams. Miracle- played offlane Centaur, while Nikita “Nicky’Cool” Ostakhov played Zeus. The second half of the offlane went to Tundra Esports’ new support, Edgar “9Class” Naltakian on Tiny.
Aleksandr “Rue” Filin and Entity’s Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov piloted Techies and Phantom Lancer, respectively, in the safelane. Watson broadcast the game live on Twitch, which began roughly two hours and thirty minutes into the VoDs.
On the Dire side, Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey chose Queen of Pain for the mid lane, while Team Secret’s carry Remco “Crystallis” Arets used his iconic Razor in the off lane. He had the world’s best partner, two-time International Champion Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, beside him.
Arman “Malady” Orazbayev played roving support, curiously replacing Doom in that capacity. Butterfly completed out the draft with a safe lane Templar Assassin.
Fans who expected a spectacular contest were disappointed, as Miracle- and his companions won by a landslide. The game lasted approximately 30 minutes and finished with a score of 47-14. Not exactly the back-and-forth combat between Titans that we had hoped for.
The Radiant team:
- Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov
- Nikita “Nicky`Cool” Ostakhov
- Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi
- Edgar “9Class” Naltakian
- Aleksandr “rue” Filin
The Dire team:
- Butterfly (aka Satanic)
- Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey
- Remco “Crystallis” Arets
- Arman “Malady” Orazbayev
- Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov
Radiant maintained its early game lead and successfully sieged Dire’s high ground in the 25th minute. Dire was able to force Radiant out of its base in one final base defence effort.
But this win was short-lived, as Radiant resumed its high-ground sieges in the 28th minute. 9Class began the fight by capturing Doom, Queen of Pain, and Templar Assassin with an Avalanche-Toss combo, followed by Miracle’s Hoof Stomp and Double Edge, and finished out by the rest of the Radiant squad. This appeared to be the final straw, as Dire just quit up and let the game end. The final Kills score for the contest was 47-14.
Valve has implemented many measures to counteract smurfs in Dota 2. The corporation no longer tolerates gamers having numerous accounts and will ban those who do.
Sharing accounts is likewise forbidden, and Valve will not hesitate to ban pros even in the middle of a match if they indulge in any inappropriate behaviour. As a result of these new regulations, pros are obliged to play on their primary accounts, which frequently have greater MMR. This explains why a new record was established yesterday. The players’ average rank was 25, the highest recorded in history. The game was played in Europe, which is now considered the strongest zone in Dota 2. The past six Internationals have been won by either a Western or Eastern European squad.
